How To Use Betadine Cold Defence Nasal Spray 20ml Kids
2. Remove protection cap, shake the bottle and pump the spray a few times until a fine mist comes out
3. Sit up with slight forward-tilted head and exhale slowly
4. Close one nostril and gently insert the nozzle into the other
5. Repeat steps for both nostrils. Wash your hands after use to remove any medication.

Side Effects
As with all medications, you may experience some side effects. Not everyone experiences it. This is not a cause for concern. However, it is so that you are aware of it.
Significant side effects include:
- Hypo- or hyper-thyroidism in long-term. Rarely, hypersensitivity reactions; conjunctival hyperaemia, superficial punctuate keratitis, cytotoxicity (ophthalmic).
- Dermatologic symptoms are rare, can present as local irritation, pruritus, rash, oedema and burns.
Drug/Food Interactions
Warning Precautions
If you have or have had problems with your thyroid, tell your doctor about it right away.
Do not use Povidone iodine on wounds that are very bad, like burns, animal bites, or large or deep puncture wounds.
Povidone iodine should not be given to children under the age of two because it can harm them.
This medicine should not be taken with lithium (medicine for mood disorder).
If you have kidney disease, let your doctor know.
